Mdzananda Animal Clinic provides the only permanent animal welfare support to Khayelitsha, a township area just outside Cape Town, South Africa, and which is home to approximately one-million people (about one-third the total population of the city).
Mdzananda means distemper in the local isiXhosa dialect.
